It has been really hard to find the time to write these days. I have been working extremely hard on my own personal freedom. During the process I have learned Freedom is not Free!. It is hard work; it is a painful experience deeper into your own beliefs, constructs and created realms. I have learned that freedom is not a place, or a frame of mind; but a complete overhaul of your own personal (psychological, physical and spiritual) understandings.
If someone tells you they know freedom, but they have never experienced long suffering in their lives; turn and run as fast as you can, or if they tell you to just turn it over to Jesus; smile and know you are in the midst of a great deceiver. What I have uncovered is that no matter how much you learn, study, exercise and pray the best advice is to unlearn. You must unlearn and dismantle the constructs you built your life around. They are collapsing around you, and you know it. Unlearn the rules of engagement and create new rules. Listen to your heart in the process. At it’s deepest core it is good. Don’t believe what you have been told; our tragic life experiences are what keep us stuck in evil, not our truest heart (self).
The constructs of religion, society, government and business economies are all playing their own tunes 24 hours a day to keep us sick, consuming, keeping up with the Joneses, and dependent. They say we need ______; just fill in the blank, to be who we want and need to be. If we all knew what we were capable of it would frighten us. Maybe that’s the real problem; we hide from ourselves because we know we should be more. Quit listening to who and what everyone else says you should be and do.
It feels good to be writing again, but more importantly it feels good to share my thoughts as I wrestle with life and FREEDOM.
“The secret of happiness is freedom. The secret of freedom is courage.”- Thucydides
